Meet the Owner

Rhonda T. Mallard

Rhonda T. M. is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with 19 years of experience in finance and accounting across corporate, public, and government sectors. She is highly skilled in taxation, financial reporting, analytics, accounting, project cost controls, and small business consulting. Her deep expertise spans corporate accounting, IRS audits, financial analysis, and business advisory services. With a strong entrepreneurial mindset, Rhonda consistently delivers measurable results and strategic value.

She currently serves as Senior Tax Manager at Wellness Fi™ (since August 2022) and is the Founder and Owner of RT Mallard CPA, where she offers tax consultation, tax preparation, payroll, IRS audit representation, and bookkeeping services for individuals and business entities. In September 2023, she was also the Senior Accounting Manager at HarrisonKornberg Architects, managing financial operations, HR procedures, project documentation, and supporting special initiatives such as software integrations.

Previously, Rhonda spent six years as Manager of Business Insight & Analytics at Mattress Firm, where she led a team leveraging tools like SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to drive business decisions. She also worked as a Credentialed Tax Expert for Intuit Accountants and held key roles at ConocoPhillips focused on financial reporting, tax compliance, and asset management.

Her early career includes positions as Fiscal Officer for Hinds County Justice Court, Tax Preparer at Jackson Hewitt, and Financial Analyst at Hennepin County.

Rhonda holds a Master’s in Business Analytics from Maryville University of Saint Louis, an MBA from Mississippi State University, a BBA in Accounting from Jackson State University, and an A.A.S. in Accounting from Saint Paul College. Her honors include the AICPA Accounting Scholarship, GFOA Finance Scholarship, Special Recognition Award, and graduating summa cum laude.
